Green will Close after a ladies charity match on 26/9/2010
Jim Beddoe has resigned from his position of Vice Club Captain and will not be available to bowl for any remaining fixtures. However we are lucky that he will continue to prepare the bowling green for the next season throughout the winter. Please discuss with him any proposals and offer of assistance.

Big thanks to the huge effort by Jimbo & Mick
The work party with Jimbo was attended by John Beddoe, Mick Cunniffee, Alan Griffiths, Mick Williams & Phil Ellett. There are many jobs that remain to be done Please would other members help Mick & Jennie Isaac, Sunday or in the week if they cant make Saturday Mornings.
It is hoped the green will be open soon but members should take note of any notices if the green is closed for treatment work by the groundsman.

Our Club Captain John Beddoe wants as many players to turn up next Saturday 3rd April at 3pm its possible that Our Secretary Keith Randall will try to arrange friendly competition with another team.
Vandalism at the Raven
Significant damage to the green and fences, this has been reported to the Police. Members Need to be vigilant and report all suspicious actions especially by youths on bikes.
Our current Pub manager (Sarah) is very supportive to the bowling club, it should be remembered that the damages are also occurring to her property, please also report any anti social behaviour towards the pub property as well.
