This years competition was played 22 years to the day, 21st of June when John left us in a fatal motorbike accident. The year after Chis & George asked for a competition to be held in his name expecting it to last around 5 years and after 21 years of the playing for the trophy it still remains a huge competition at the Raven Bowls Club. Unfortunately Chris & George are also no longer with us apart from in our hearts. It's a recoginition of how much they were loved by family and friends that the competition and day is such a big sucess.
